Beef. Cows were first brought to Argentina in 1536 by Spanish Conquistadors. Due to the geography of the Pampas and a small national market, the cattle multiplied rapidly. Beef and its production have played a major part in the culture of Argentina, and cattle industry had become a key growth driver in the economy.

1. An udder is an organ formed of the mammary glands of female four-legged mammals, particularly ruminants such as cattle, goats, sheep and deer. It is equivalent to the breast in primates. The udder is a single mass hanging beneath the animal, consisting of pairs of mammary glands. In cattle there are normally two pairs.

Hathor was the mother of Horus and the sun god Ra, and therefore she was the symbolic mother of pharaohs. She is often depicted as a cow or as a woman with cow’s horns.
