What makes this teapot famous?
Its 3D model is a geometric primitive in many graphic applications. The Utah teapot (or the Newell teapot) is one of the most recognized 3D computer models. It's used as a reference in tests, but also as an inside joke for graphic designers. The model was created in 1975 by Martin Newell.
