Naked mole-rats are the most long-liv­ing rodents. They are known to live up to 31 years. Until 2016, when 2 cancer sick animals were found, they had been believed to be fully cancer re­sis­tan­t. Their im­muno­log­i­cal system evolved an ad­di­tion­al cancer cell dis­cov­ery feature that does exist among other animal species.
