Fully loaded, she was in­ca­pable of nav­i­gat­ing the English Channel, the Suez Canal or the Panama Canal. Overall, she is gen­er­al­ly con­sid­ered the largest ship ever built. She was sunk during the Iran–I­raq War, but was later salvaged and restored to service.
