Jan van Steenbergen is a Dutch philologist and translator. He created a few artificial languages, ie. venedic - showing what Polish would have looked like if it had been a Romance instead of a Slavic language or vozgian, a hypotetic north Slavic dialect. He's best known for being creator of Interslavic, a language to communicate with Slavs and among them.
