The pop­u­la­tion of Bolivia is only 10 million and 88% of Bo­li­vians speak Spanish. Nev­er­the­less, the country has 37 official lan­guages, in­clud­ing many in­dige­nous ones, such as Quechua, Aymara, Guarani and 34 others. These include Bauré, a nearly extinct Arawakan language spoken by only 13 of 200 ethnic tribal Baure people.
