Solfège is a singing tech­nique used to teach pitch. The last of seven syl­la­bles is "si". However, in An­glo-Sax­on coun­tries, it was changed to "ti" by Sarah Glover in the nine­teenth century so that every syllable might begin with a dif­fer­ent letter.
