Fanta is an orange soda drink. It was created in Germany in 1940. Fanta was created during World War II in Nazi Germany by the German Coca Cola (GmbH) bottling company. Because of the war, there was no shipping between Nazi Germany and the United States. The name 'Fanta' came during an employee contest to name the new beverage. Keith told them to let their Fantasie (German for imagination) run wild. On hearing that, salesman Joe Knipp thought of the name Fanta.

The first commercial decaffeination process relied on benzene, the highly carcinogenic crude-oil derived hydrocarbon that is a critical component in gasoline, styrene foam, and as a precursor to nylon production. In 1903 German coffee merchant and inventor Ludwig Roselius developed the world’s first commercially viable coffee decaffeination process. He involved steaming green coffee beans with acidified water and then washing them with a solvent solution of benzene to remove the caffeine from the beans before the roasting process.

A prairie oyster is a traditional beverage consisting of a egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and ground black pepper. The egg is broken into a glass so as not to break the yolk. The unbroken yoke causes the drink to bear a texture similar to that of an oyster. The concoction has been referred to as a traditional cure for hangovers, and has appeared in media for decades.
